WHAT ARE THE 2023 RATES?
In 2023, rental rates for the Mas de Cinq Sous, which combines luxury with nature, range from €7,000 to €13,000 per week, depending on the time of year you choose to stay.
- Low season (January, February, March, November, December excluding winter vacations, Christmas and New Year periods): €7,000 per week and possibility of renting the mas for three nights (€3,500 per three nights).
- Medium season (April, May, June, September, October, winter vacations, Christmas and New Year): €10,000 per week.
- High season (July, August): €13,000 per week.
HOW TO BOOK?
By phone (+ 33 674 559 595) or email (masdecinqsous@gmail.com). Once chosen your vacation dates, we will send you a rental contract, which you will need to initial and sign. In order to pre-fill your rental contract, we need your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL FARE?
Rental rates for this luxury villa rental in Provence include bed linen and towels, a 3-hour mid-stay cleaning service and a final cleaning service.
A nice surprise will await you on your arrival and a breakfast basket will be delivered when you wake up the first morning.
In high season (July and August), our rates include a 2-hour daily cleaning service and a “box apéro” delivered mid-week.
In each bathroom, you will find 100% local, 100% vegan and provençal bath products from Végétalement Provence brand.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIME?
Unless otherwise agreed, arrival is on the first day of rental between 4pm and 8pm. The house must be vacated no later than the last day of rental before 10am. Want to arrive earlier or leave later? We will always find solutions! How about a picnic in the shade of a pine tree? Just one idea among many others.
IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
A deposit is indeed required. The amount of the deposit is given to you in the rental terms and conditions of the Mas. It will be returned to you after your stay, no later than two weeks from the date of the exit inventory.
DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT TO BOOK?
Your booking is confirmed when we receive a deposit of 30% of your stay by bank transfer. The balance of the stay, tourist tax and optional extras must be paid by bank transfer no later than 30 days before arrival.
Conditions
DO I NEED TO TAKE INSURANCE?
When you rent a vacation home, you absolutely must ensure that your liability insurance covers the seasonal rental. In addition, we strongly recommend that you take a cancellation insurance to cover this risk. The cancellation conditions set are strict and non-negotiable.
IS THE MAS NON-SMOKING?
Yes, it is forbidden to smoke inside the Mas. On the terraces, there are ashtrays for your cigarette butts. We count on you not to throw them out into nature. It takes more than 2 years for a cigarette butt to decompose.

CAN I HAVE A BABY BED AND A HIGH CHAIR?
Of course. Le Mas de Cinq Sous loves babies! Travel cot, high chair, suitable crockery, baby monitor, books and toddler games, we have everything you need for your child to have a wonderful stay in this luxury villa rental in Provence.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE OPTIONS OF ADDITIONAL HOUSEHOLD, HOME CHEF, MASSAGE, ETC.?
At the time of your reservation, we will send you a list of options and services offered at an additional cost. All you have to do is book in advance by email or phone. Households, massages, treatments, transport can be decided at the last moment but certain activities require a reservation several weeks in advance. Ask us, we will do our best to make every moment spent at Mas de Cinq Sous unforgettable.
IS BARBECUE ALLOWED?
You will find a gas barbecue in front of the house and an electric Plancha on the pétanque side. It is strictly forbidden to do wood fires in this part of the Alpilles. We ask you to be particularly careful with your cigarettes. Every year, they are responsible for a majority of the forest fires with the well known catastrophic consequences.
DOES THE MAS HAVE LAUNDRY ?
The Mas has a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.

WHAT IS A NATURAL SWIMMING POOL?
A natural pool, also called a biological pool, is a pool that works as a result of the combination of certain bacteria and aquatic plants. The development of a genuine “fauna/flora” ecosystem promotes water quality and balance. In other words, it is a pool that works naturally without chemicals. This does not mean that you are going to swim in a pond or a swamp. No, not at all! A weekly maintenance of the pool will ensure you all the comfort of a so-called “normal” swimming pool. You can also do laps in this 6×12 meter swimming pool.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR YOUR VACATION AT MAS DE CINQ SOUS ?
In Provence, each season is a pure marvel. Subject to a Mediterranean climate, characterized by hot summers and mild winters, Provence can be visited throughout the year.
DO YOU OFFER INTERNET ACCESS?
We put at your disposal free access by WIFI. Warning ! We are in a rural area and in the middle of a protected national park. Internet access is via satellite, with speeds that allow you to watch movies on different screens via Apple TV, or even work home-office. The best thing to do in such an exceptional place is to be connected, yes, but to nature.
HOW TO GET TO THE MAS DE CINQ SOUS?
As the French say:”To live well, stay unseen” We will give you all the details when confirming your reservation. Do not hesitate to ask us for a transport solution from your place of arrival (station/airport) as, we have wonderful drivers who will be happy to bring you to us. We will, of course, be there to welcome you at the end of your journey.
If you arrive at the Mas by your own means, we will give you a meeting point at a specific time because the Mas does not exist on most GPS. We didn’t lie to you when we said this is a secret place.
WHAT WILL I FIND IN MY BREAKFAST BASKET ON THE FIRST MORNING?
Delivered at 9am to the Mas entrance, your breakfast will be the first pleasure of the day. Bread, pastries, butter, jam, honey, eggs and fresh fruit, fresh juice. Local products carefully selected and prepared with love.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN SLEEP AT THE MAS DE CINQ SOUS?
This luxury rental in France can accommodate up to 8 guests. But we can install an extra bed for a child in one of the bedrooms.
CAN YOU ACCEPT PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?
We are very sorry but the Mas de Cinq Sous is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
